I do have ties to the church as my grandfather, Henry Bode, was Christened at Zion Lutheran Church in 1897 and my great-great-grandfather, Wilhelm Bode, is buried in the Church cemetery. A part of me is there in Zionsville and it is a community I enjoy visiting!
